Hello Alice! nice to hear from you and big congratulations on your offer!!
You know I can introduce you to all my Japanese friends at Aston and I'll tell my friends about you as well, I'm sure you'll like the people here, we're such a small community and so we're all a friendly bunch, trust me.
Anyhow, something you should bring? Ummm, have you got a rice cooker? perhaps that's like the only thing you cannot get in this country... apart from that you can buy almost anything in Birmingham. Clothes? maybe... You know that UK is a cold country so bring lots of long sleeves... and some snacks?
When are you leaving Japan? I'm heading back to Tokyo in the beginning of August so perhaps we could all meet up? I'm planning to meet with some of my aston friends as well, so I can let you know when/place etc. My email address is matkinbird2000@hotmail.com so, give me a shout if you need anything.
Apart from that, enjoy the rest of Japan and congratulations again.

Hi Lukas, nice to hear from you and it was nice to see you in Avenches. You know, I went to Zermatt after that, and the mountains were so pretty, you sure do live in a nice country. I did a lot of hiking when I was there.
Im now in Barcelona, my final destination. Im going to stay here for another two days and then I´ll head back to the UK. I´ll update my website when I get back, so look forward to seeing your photos!

I just remembered your website through some sort of magic. I`m glad to see that you`re doing well. So you`re coming back to Japan? I think it will be very strange for you. So, when are you coming back to UK? I hope we can catch up when you do come up. But I'm going back to Tokyo myself this August, so I hope we don't miss each other in mid-air...
I bet by now you have perfected your Japanese, next time I meet you, I'm going to speak to you using my advanced Japanese. But actually, I forgot a lot of Japanese myself that I might need your help to brush up my Japanese! (that would be quite funny).
Kendo? That is so cool. Maybe next time we meet, we can duel using real samurai katana!
