今日は、仕事で、バランスシートがバランスしないという問題が起きた。
これは別に珍しいことではない。
現に僕は過去に受けた会計学の試験で、自慢ではないが、一度もバランスシートを貸借一致させたことがない。
部分点をもらって、なんとか生き延びてこられた訳で、
「バランスシートはバランスしなくて当たり前」と言い切っていた。
しかし、それは学生までの話で
仕事となると、さすがにクライアントから部分点をもらうことはできないので
何がなんでも貸借を一致させねばならぬ。
ものすごい時間をかけて、なんとかできた。
やはり僕は会計肌ではないのだろうか。
A problem occurred at work today - I couldn't balance the balance sheet.
For me, that is a very ordinary problem.
In fact, I didn't even used to regard it as a problem.
I hate to boast, but I have never managed to balance the balance sheets in every accounting exam I've taken in the past.
It is not too much to say that I've survived my university exams by accumulating enough "partial points".
In the past, I have asserted many times that "balance sheets are not meant to balance".
But that worked only when I was a student.
Because I don't think, I can claim partial points from the company's client.
So I had to balance the balance sheet today, which took me a stupid amount of time.
I don't think I have an aptitude for accoutancy.
