トマス先生という先生が僕の隣に座っている。
彼のことを「歩く聖人」と僕は密かに呼んでいる。
聖書に出てくるトマスは「イエスキリストの蘇りを疑ってしまった人」と
可哀想な烙印が押されてしまっているが、
僕の隣に座っているトマスは、そんな烙印を押したくても押せない、
なんともピュアな人間である。

一言で言うと彼は「真面目だ」。
人生３５年間生きてきたが、彼ほど真面目な人は
高校の時の友達である小野君意外にはいない。

トマス先生を見ていると自分がいかに罪人であることがよく分かる。
やはりイエスキリストの救いが僕には必要だ。
アーメン。

やはり私は罪深い。

I secretly call him 'the walking saint.'
Thomas in the Bible is famous for doubting the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
but pastor Thomas never doubts (at least not that I know of).

He is the most pure person I know on this planet (except for 
Ono-kun in my high school).

When I sit next to him, I'm reminded of my sin.
That's why I need Jesus.
