Worked from 10:00 till
18:30. They've recently installed air conditioning in this store.
The store used to become like a
sauna from the heat of oven, but now it's all nice and cool.
When Luiza, who was working in
the back turned off the air-conditioning saying 'it's getting too cold',
Yon, who was working in
the front, complained.
'Who
turned the switch off! It's too hot in here!' said Yon who is from
Malaysia
'It's
mee, but you shouldnt kamplain, you're from a hot kantleee' said Luiza
in a strong Uzbekistan accent.
'Then you shouldn't
complain either, you're from a cold country!'
Everybody burst into
laughter.
To Such good friends
I have to say goodbye in two weeks time. Today I told Harj that I
want to quit.
Am I merely running
away from pain? Have I chosen the easy way?
My goal from today
is to study my brain off till I can confidently say 'No' to those
questions.
