朝教会に行く。じつは向こう2週間、日曜日は修理のため教会への電車は走っていなかっ
た。今日も嫌な予感
はしていたものの、3度目の正直を信じ駅へ向かう。しかし、今日も残念ながら修理！3週続けて２０分遅刻で
ある！今日は、牧師のニコ ラ・ジョーンズが急遽来れなくなり、代わりに近くの教会の牧師先生を招い
てメッセージをしてもらった。最近、友達のウィルソンが教会に来な い。これで３週間になる。勉強が忙しいの
だろうか。
午後はオリンピックを見る。今日は男子１００ｍファイナルである！と言っても、モーリス・グリーンしか 知らないの
でとりあえず彼を応援することに（よく選挙で有名人に投票するのと同じである）。結果はなんと、
ジャスティン・ギャットリンという無名の選手が 金メダル！世代交代のレースだったような感じがした。
Went to church in the morning.. In the past two weeks, the train wasn't running to the direction of my
chruch because of some repair work. I did have a bad feeling today, but I thought bad things don't happen
three times in a row, so I nevertheless went to the train station. However, bad things do happen three
times in a row; I had to take the replacement bus service again! 20 min late to church three weeks in a row!
Today, our pastor Nichola Jones coudn't come to the service, so instead we invited a minister from a chruch
near by. My friend Wilson hasn't come to chruch recently, maybe he's busy studying.
In the afternoon, was watching the Olympics. Today was the Men 100m finals which I was looking forward to.
Well, Maurice Greene was the only athlete I knew, so I decided to support him. But Justin Gatlin won the gold
medals which seemed to me like a coming of another generation.
